LadyMont 1 Posted July 20, 2019 Share Posted July 20, 2019 (edited) Had a lot of problems trying to download music to my phone running Android pie. After going over all that could possibly be wrong, reinstalling the app etc. What worked for me was go to "Apps & notifications", click "see all apps", then tap the option menu in the upper-right corner, select "Show system", select "download manager" from the applist, tap on "Storage", then clear both the cache and storage. After that you might need to readd what you want to download, but at least it will start downloading again. Turns out this isn't an Emby problem like I thought, it is an Android problem. Hopefully Google will fix this. Hope this may help others facing the same issue on Android. You may have to so this periodically as the issue comes back every now and then.
