nickgrill 5 Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 can someone please help me figure out why my subs wont play. I am using MB server streaming to an Xbox one. I have the server set to always play subtitles and when a movie plays that subtitles have been downloaded for I get nothing. if I click the option for the subtitle it shows the external .srt file as check but still nothing on the screen. any help would be appreciated, this has been very frustrating and is causing me not to be able to watch certain movies.

DuffMan 0 Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 I had this problem with a particular file, it was a mp4 file. I was using shark codec pack and it wouldn't play any subtitles. I had to turn media foundation of in the shark codec pack and it started working I am guessing media foundation was still being used and so the subtitles didn't show.
