Hoochee 8
Roku Ultra running software v. 9.1.0 build 4111-46, and current Emby app version. In libraries with TV shows content type the media order is not sorted when Sort By Played Date is selected. The media order is not changed regardless of Ascending or Descending, and order is not correct for either selection. @@speechles - in the Apple TV post where I had a similar issue and noted this Roku issue, you asked This was after going to "genres" and picking a sub genre? If so that will be corrected in the next beta for Roku. I don't recall going to Genres to make any selections
ebr 14910
Hi. This will be fixed in the next release. Thanks for reporting.
Hoochee 8
I’m now running the beta app and looks like this is fixed; however, before the last Played show(s) will sort correctly I must back out to the main library screen (has menus for Shows, Genres, Episodes, etc...), then select Shows . Is that expected? For clarity: I play, or mark Played, a show but it will remain where it was in the sort before being played unless I go back to the main library screen, then select Shows. Then I see the last played show(s) sorted correctly. I waited about a minute in case the refresh was slow, maybe I need to just wait longer. Okay, yeah, we are not refreshing that list after playback. We'll have to see if there is a way to do that without being too disruptive. Android handles this really well but I'm not sure Roku will. We'll have to try it.
