I've had this behavior for a few builds now and figured I should mention it since I haven't seen anyone else report it.  On first open of a chapter image menu, either when looking at the media item detail page or the push-up chapter menu, the 5th and 6th chapter images are always blank.  If I scroll past them off the screen and then back they show up as expected.  No issues on the web app so it seems to be an android tv problem as far as I can tell.

I just updated the server to .28 and checked a few items again.  First two all images showed correctly, last one the bug showed up in the detail screen, but not the pop-up menu during playback.  Server log attached and a sent logs from the app also.

Ok nothing obvious here. We'll see what @ebr thinks. Thanks.

Okay, this is a new one.  Perhaps something about exactly how these images are being encoded...?

So a server issue?

If you scroll right/left, or close and re-open the page, the images appear.

Thank you for your patience.

Nothing about being patient, it's about you managing your user's expectations.

If you said it'll be a few days, then so be it, but you never give feedback like that.

I have seen this myself but can't remember which episode this was.

Just wondering if the latest ATV beta does solve this, as it uses a new thumbnail API?

I restored the older api in the latest beta server anyway so it shouldn't matter.

@mezz64, can you confirm that it is fixed in your example?

As @Luke alluded to, thumbnail API change didn't solve anything. I still see this behavior in .37 on beta server .32.

Judging by the silence I'm guessing this is proving tricky to track down.

Already did during the initial report after @Luke asked for a server log.  @ebr found the exception that is being thrown, they just don't know why it's happening yet.

Yes, but this is after the latest beta server releases, so may be different.
