Oohdang 1
Hello, I am experiencing frequent pauses during media playback and have sent logs via the Nvidia Shield app. The logs were sent at 12:36pm eastern time. The name of the user on the local server is Matt - the local server is running in a docker container in a Debian 9 environment. Playback paused several times during playback in this instance of the logs I sent. It would pause for several seconds, play for several seconds, and pause again. This has been happening for a few days and sometimes this only occurs once or twice during a whole movie and other times it is far more frequent. Please help! Oohdang 1
Hi there, can you please attach the emby server log as well? Thanks. Sure thing! I don't know if this helps, but this morning the event in question started in the activity log with this entry: Matt is playing Rick and Morty - Morty's Mind Blowers on Master Bedroom 7/11/2019, 11:52:47 am And ended with: Matt has finished playing Rick and Morty - Morty's Mind Blowers on Master Bedroom 7/11/2019, 12:36:08 pm I tried several things to get it to play without pausing in between those times, then I sent the logs from my Nvidia Shield shortly after this 12:36:08 pm timestamp. embyserver.txt hardware detection.txt ffmpeg.txt

Solution Oohdang 1 Posted July 18, 2019 Author Solution Share Posted July 18, 2019 @@Oohdang are you still running into this? Hi Luke, It looks like this may have been Nvidia Shield related and not related to the server I'm running on Debian 9. I installed the test image from May 2019 a few days ago - https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/1110161/shield-tv/shield-experience-upgrade-7-2-3-test-image/ - and have been getting smooth playback ever since. My wife mentioned a few hiccups will happen randomly, but at this point I'm chalking those up to something network related most likely. Thanks for checking back with me!
