Hi

I have searched for this topic and found similar topics, but no specific solution, besides "it should work". So I hope with my specific setup, someone is able to point to where to solve my challenge.

Issue: I have bought the Samsung N950 (N960 as I'm in EU or Nordics in EU), and it is suppose to write "Atmos" in the display when Atmos-audio is being sent to it, but that does not happen when I play Dolby Demo disc samples with Atmos content.

In Emby, when selected a Atmos sample video, and also when playing the video, the Audio track says "TrueHD 7.1". I dont know what it is suppose to say here for Atmos content, but I would expect it to say " 7.1.4" for example.

Emby server: Version 4.1.1.0 on Synology NAS 918+

Emby Client version: 1.7.21g

In "Playback"-settings

Audio-output: Auto

Allow DTS-pass-thru and DTS-HD Pass-thru is both Enabled

Running on Nvidia Shield

Beta firmware 7.2.3 (30.6.131.71) due to fixing the latency issue in skipping forward

"Volume control"-setting is set to "Fixed volume Selected"

"Surroundsound": Automatic

"Fixed volume": Enabled to "Pass audio control to external devices"

My connections are: Nvidia Shield -> N950 Soundbar -> TV (ARC) - all with HDMI of course.

I have also just updated the firmware on the soundbar, but that didn't change anything.

Any suggestions are more than welcome please :)

OMG, I thought the Dolby Atmos disc (downloaded online) would be my trusted source to test this, so I had not tested anything else.

Now I'm testing a couple of movies with Atmos, and with those my soundbar now displays "Dolby Atmos".

So it all DOES work :)

But just NOT for the Dolby Atmos demonstration disc I got for some reason. Perhaps a bad disc?!? :)

Sorry to bother.
