ThermoDust 12
I see that it is reporting a permission denied issue but maybe it is my rusty skills since initially setting up Emby as I haven't had much luck tracking down the root cause. Can someone else look at my logs and help please... embyserver.txt ffmpeg-transcode-abd90de6-a6a0-48a8-9887-6558db1e353f_1.txt ffmpeg-transcode-cb28e1c8-b3db-463b-a935-a8baee0a1852_1.txt hardware_detection-63697871518.txt
Luke 36999
Hi, yes it looks like emby server is being denied read permissions to this file: file:/srv/dca20261-3b14-4dcb-87c9-872e3f41a0aa/Media/Movies/Bedazzled (2000)/Bedazzled (2000).mp4: Permission denied If you can resolve that then that should resolve your issue. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.
ThermoDust 12
Does that process spawn as something other than the emby service? Everything I can see says no, it runs as the service user...
ThermoDust 12
Yup. Permissions. Some how during upgrades emby fell out of the correct user group.
