Sometimes I fall asleep to a show or movie, and when I wake up Emby has long-finished the video, but the screen is still on. The process I went through: - Delete the app to clear settings - Install the App Store version to "restore purchase" for the video playback - Install the beta over the App Store version - Test playback in my account (screen stayed on until I shut it off manually at 15min after playback was finished) - Test playback in the guest account (first disabled auto-play next item) (same symptom) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I try so hard to use and recommend Emby but these are the kinds of issues that make it difficult. I have a lifetime premier membership and over the last couple years I've been using Plex because of issues like this... every so often I come back and test things out and find some issue. This time everything seemed good and I have been using it for a short time but this, even though it is a minor issue will probably push me back to Plex and for what? I’ve been switching everything back to Emby from Plex and with that last glitch fixed I must say that things are quite solid now... the one area that could use some work is the offline downloads, it works but could use some fine tuning. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
