steve1977 67
The much I appreciate the effort going into creating a dedicated repo, I am unsure whether this is the right way forward. There are constant updates to the original skins and it will require constant maintenance of the mods. I doubt that this will be sustainable in the long-term. Much preferred would to be convince the developers of the original skin to include an XBMC3C mode. If all of us on this forum would ask the original developer to provide this, there may be a chance. Is there any other advantage of a separate repo and mods?
im85288 1493
I think you'll find that the developers of the original skins have no interest in adding XBMB3C mode, have a look back over the years at trying to get the Plex addon included in XBMC skins and you'll find only one "Amber" that was in the official repo.
xnappo 1593
Yep - we asked and they all said 'go ahead and fork, we aren't interested'. You are more than welcome to go ask for your favorite skin to take a Git pull of our mods though - we have been careful to maintain backwards compatibility. xnappo Edited May 25, 2014 by xnappo
