Dizzy49 94
I had been running Emby Theater on my main desktop for quite a while. Everything worked great, and looked great. I had recently upgraded to some new LG 4k monitors and I turned the HDR effect on it loved t. I had a hard crash and had to wipe and reload from scratch. While I was doing that I put Emby Theater on my laptop so I could watch stuff while I was working. I noticed that the images weren't as crisp as they were on my desktop. When I played video it was fine, so I didn't think much of it. I just got around to putting Emby Theater on my desktop and I am seeing the same issue. Now that it's 32" vs 13" it's much more noticeable It only affects the thumbnails on the main home page (My Media, Continue Watching, Next Up...) When I go into a library, or into the detail screens, those images are all fine. It reminds me of a gif that loads the low res image and displays it while the high res is loading. That makes sense to me since many of the thumbnails past the fold are not displaying when I scroll down. AND.... As I wrote this I decided to close Emby Theater and reopen and now everything looks good. Emby Theater was not updating images and shows while it's open. It did previously. When I'd mark something watched it wouldn't remove it. The restart seems to have resolved that issue as well. All good here, consider this a PSA.
