You still have the server dashboard open. Notice all of these requests to:

/emby/ScheduledTasks?IsEnabled=true

Can you try again but without having the server dashboard open the entire time? Thanks.

Looks like you're also playing from twonky is that correct? In order to help isolate this, can you repeat this test without doing that? Even better if you could uninstall the dlna plugin. I'd like to try and prove if this is indeed related to Kodi usage, and it's just hard to say that for sure when the server log contains other activity. thanks.

I was not playing within the twonky world at all.

I will remove the dlna though and test again

So before or after you started playing media?

As I started playing media from the dynamic page in kodi connected to emby.

Same thing happens when trying to sync music videos. The cpu will high and stay there.

Can you shutdown the server, locate the server config file:

C:\Users\john\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata\config\system.xml

There's an option called LogAllQueryTimes, please set that to true. Then repeat and post a new log when CPU usage climbs.

Turning this on will spam the log, so you'll want to turn it off afterwards. Thanks.

opened kodi and into emby addon

opened home video and pictures little change.

about 9:28 tried to open mixed content and youtube and cpu went to about 50

back to home videos went up some but still working

back to mixed content and youtube and it went to 100%

i take it this has been very hard to find.

When you captured the log file was cpu usage high at that time? And was the log file still growing?

The cpu usage for embyserver was at 2 to 3 % when I started kodi. I did not look at the size or growing rate of the log file during the test.

Ok, please try 4.2.0.28, headed up now, and if there's still an issue, then repeat on that version. Thanks.

at first it look ok.

I reset my kodi database and had it do a full sync

Started at 7:25

TV and Movies it blew very quickly with little cpu 5-10 % lots disk access as expected.

Then it got music videos where the problem has been.

at 7:30 it was at 35 %

at 731 it was at 52

finished at 7:34 with a steady 84% even after i stopped it at 7:45

The log was still growing quickly.

Apears to be better but not fixed
