Can't Skip forward/back with MKV's

So I had this working in the past but its been a while since I've played any MKV files, I can't fast forward, rewind, skip forward or back at all in Emby for WMC.  I've check the server dashboard and it seems to be direct playing as it should, I've also attempted to reinstall LAV filters but it didn't help.  I know it's trying to do it, I hear the ding and the status bar shows at the bottom.  My Emby setup is a little odd, the Emby Server and Emby for WMC are on the same machine, but the files are stored on a separate NAS.  Also, when I use Emby Theater on a different machine I seem to be able to skip forward just fine.  I'll attach my server log below.

Fast forward, and rewind for MKVs in wmc each require either media control or MCE remote plus. Skip ahead and jump back should work out of the box though. Are you sure you have always used LAV and never ffdshow? I have only been able to get this to work with ffdshow as the video filter. I still use lav for the splitter though.

LAV is all you need these days.

Most likely, this issue is a problem accessing the media locations.

Can we please see an EMC log?

Typically this is a file access issue but. Not aware of any examples of FF and RW working with LAV. LAV will enable playback of MKVs but I haven't seen FF and RW work with it. The two programs I referenced above interface with FFDshow directly but they were never updated for LAV. I know media control uses a remote or keyboard hook and at some point it was enough of an issue to add an option in EMC to disable functions that interfere with media control. If there is an example of FF and RW working I would like to know how because I'm not far enough along to have ffdshow working properly on my extenders.
