yotoprules 0 Posted June 6, 2019 Share Posted June 6, 2019 (edited) Hi, When using Emby in kodi, I get 30-50% CPU usage and 40-50% GPU usage. However, if I play the video using MPC-HC, I only get 10-15% cpu usage and GPU usage. Is this normal or is Kodi always this inefficient? I have an i5 8400 paired with GTX 1080. Angelblue05 4130 Posted June 7, 2019 Share Posted June 7, 2019 As TeamB said, we are guessing here since you didn't provide your kodi log, but if it's transcoding then it is normal depending on your settings.
