Emby Server Crashes after 3 reinstalls.......

Brief update from my standpoint:

 

Andy was running the release version of the server and having no server problems when i remoted in to give him a hand.  We checked a lot of things but found the main/real issue was some clients such as his IPAD could not connect to the server.

 

This is all on WIF with a proper setup of the Emby server.

Through a bit of trial and error and trying to connect to my server as well as me connecting to his server we found a cause that was a firewall issue.

Turns out that AVG firewall running on he server was the problem.

 

Some configuration changes and all was good again.  I could connect remotely.  He could connect with his IPAD on the local WIFI as well.

 

So anyone that is following this thread with similar issues of connectivity issues might want to try https://canyouseeme.org/ to make sure your server is available for clients that require remote access.
