charlesk 2
I've just noticed that Auto Organize now works for Movies too. Not sure how long that's been there, but sounds great. My question is in regards to the watch folder. Is there any drama if I use the same watch folder for TV and Movies? or should I keep them seperate? Will the app be able to recognise a movie vs a TV episode?
Luke 36999
Hi, that entire feature was community contributed so I'm afraid I don't know the answer. I think you will just have to try it and see what happens. My suggestion though would be to keep it simple and separate them. @@daedalus might know. DerrickM 23
Does auto organize work for movies if my library is on more than one drive and movies are sorted into folders with the first letter of the movie name? Example: X:\Movies\C\Crazy (2012) Y:\Moves\T\Turistas (2006) Z:\Movies\Z\Zombieland (2009) can the auto organize plugin still be used in this case? thanks

daedalus 430
thats correct auto sorting only accepts one specific folder, but on manually adding a movie you can choose the folder it should get sorted in letter thing on automatic is difficult, the same on selecting just a library as destination, how should it know on what drive what should go? these are things that should be handled outside of emby if needed, eg by combining drives with specific placing rules letter folders per se could be easily managed by proper folder patterns, but hear me, don't wait for it, that will never happen, cause literally nobody is interested in further developing this plugin, it got abandoned 2 times already, both time without a single word we just have to live on with what they had left us
