Android TV Issue skipping forward while recording

Hi

 

Tonight we recorded a show and started watching it 45 minutes into the show, still recording.

 

When commercials came we skipped ahead of course.

 

In the first couple or commercial breaks, it went fine skipping some minutes ahead. It could take some or several seconds before Emby began playing after skipping the minutes.

But on the 3rd commercial break, I skipped a head, to about 50 minutes mark, and Emby just would not begin playing again,

I stopped it, and tried to resume from 50 minutes mark, no success.

Tried to play from beginning and then skip ahead again. In the beginning skipping some minutes forward, no problem, but when I got to 30 minutes and more, Emby again stopped playing as before.

 

At this point the show had finesh it's play time, but Emby was still recording as I have set it to record 15 minutes after show ends.

So I stopped the recording, and THEN everything was good again. Now I could skip forward all the minutes I wanted, and Emby started playing again almost immediately.

 

Has anyone experience this behaviour, and is the team working on a performance improvement?
