- installed the kod server on my shield tv (apk 4.1.1.0) and enabled.

- installed emby for kodi via the repository process (version 1.0.5) - kodi resides on my shield.

- the emby add-on shows in my add-on folder but "run" is greyed out.

- using my pc, browser, logged onto server and everything looks fine.

- if i click the emby server app using my shield, and then click "open in browser", i get a "this page isn't working" screen.

thanks!

Hi there, have you installed a web browser onto your Shield?

Are you sure the server was running when you clicked this?

had it enabled on shield (toggle) and was able to log on using my pc/browser, so i'm assuming it was running?

Are you able to install 4.0.25d

http://kodi.emby.media/Public%20testing/

Does it initiate? It should be automatic pop up when you start Kodi. However, without a Kodi log, I'm unable to tell you why it's not working right now.

this is what i see after installing the repository, are you referring to one of these entries for installation? fwiw i tried beta and got the same thing.

hey, thanks for trying to help, but i'm going to move on....

You don’t have to “run” anything. It’s simply install and then you should have prompts show up asking for your server information, etc.

Sorry that I’m not able to help further without a kodi log.
