tkreidy 0
Current Server: Windows 10 Pro CPU: i3-6320 RAM: 16 GB No graphics card Storage: WD Black, (3) 5 TB drives ISP: Fios 200/200 This has been a long crazy path to get to this point. Started with Plex but everytime I shut down my Samsung Tizen TV I had to reload the app to get it to work. Anyway, happy with the switch to Emby and have paid for Lifetime Memebership. I have settled on 20 of my family and friends to share my libraries with. I don't think my current hardware will be up to the task. I have been thinking of one of the following CPU's: i7-8700 i9-9900 Not going "K" on them- I won't overclock anyway. Most likely the Asus 390Z Prime 32 GB 3200 RAM GPU: leaning towards the MSI 1660Ti Possibly the Samsung 500 GB 970 EVO M.2 NVMe Any suggestions? FYI- I am an Intel and nvidea fanboy and will pay the premium for those products. thanks in advance.

lorac 100
I'd spend extra to get a Quadro P4000 and save on the CPU. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
tkreidy 0
Wouldn't a RTX2080 be more powerful and cheaper than a Quadro P4000? Just asking. Benchmarks are much higher. I don't really know how much a GPU contributes and how much the CPU.
lorac 100
The Quadro cards are designed to handle multiple 4K streams. I'm not certain other cards allow this w/o some type of workaround. There's probably been lots of discussion about this in other threads. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6003 using Tapatalk
