Hello.

 

So, as it says in the title, Emby won’t run after a shutdown or restart on my Synology DS918+ NAS. I don’t know what the issue is, I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall Emby for in order for Emby to get back up and working. I’ve had to do this about three times and this is now the fourth. 

 

All I get is an error when I try to run Emby from the Package Center because the icon for Emby does not appear where it is usually located on the desktop or the app selection section.

 

if someone can help me fix this, I would appreciate the help so this can stop.

I think I may have solved it. I changed the username for Emby under the users on the Synology NAS to something else before, but I then changed it back to its default name to see if it would run, and it successfully runs. So, I guess I shouldn’t have changed the username.
