Can't connect out of my network

But still can't seemt o connect.Can someone please help.

At what point in that process did you see an issue with your connectivity?

I used Emby a few months ago and it worked but uninstalled for a while and just reinstalled today and it has not worked from the start today

But what point in the connectivity guide did you see an issue? Have you successfully port forwarded? What did canyouseeme tell you?

At no point in the guide. I followed all the setps but when I try to connect get the following message

Yea I watched the video and set that all up. Here is the kicker , just figured out its not working even when I am connected locally, it only works on the installed machine.

Oh well, that's different. That sounds like a fire wall issue.

ya I have done that as well. I added the rules for the port and the program to no avail :(

It asks me to login and then once I do it taskes me to the dashboard

So another odd this I noticed is the server name on the app whne I log in is diffrent than the swerver name in the dashboard. Its the old server name from when I installed a few months ago

That means your local connection is good. It looks like you're using your phone to test. In the app, if you put in the server IP, can you connect?

That means you are trying the old stuff. Start over.

I also am using a nvidia shield. When I manully add server ip while connected to wifi it shows me a server name that is diffrent than the server name on the dashboard and when I click it says server not avaible

What do you mena the old stuff? Everythign was unstalled from the computer and the devices.
