Thuzad 42 Posted May 22, 2019 Author Share Posted May 22, 2019 Some of my users we define the minimum quality (144p) without valid reason I would have wanted to force them not to use low qualities.If I understood correctly if I transcode a file with a good quality to a very bad (144p) one it will use more resource?While if it transcodes from 720p to 2/3 mb / s transcoding will use less resource.Of course if it is in direct reading no problem at the CPU.I would like to do this because when there is a lot of simultaneous stream the server has trouble following.
