2 Problems with H an E series

And when that gonna be ? i have a family screaming at me because they cant watch what they want. And i have 2 useless TV's. That's a great latest version that i have to update to.

The official app can't be run on an E-series so I'm guessing you're running the unofficial app on that TV which is no longer in development.  From your first pic above that's what you're running.  Make sure you're running 2.2.4 or higher.

 

As far as the H-series if you're running the official from the store it may not be real quick.  The latest for that app in the store is 0.122 and Luke has mentioned that Samsung is no longer taking inputs to apps starting October 2018 for the older Orsay TVs and he had to specially ask them to make an exception.  So, it's really up to Samsung whether or not they budge on their decision.

 

If you're running the unofficial app on your H-series then my same response from earlier applies for your H-series also.  That app is no longer in development

I mentioned development on the older Orsay app is no longer in development which is because the two main developers have long gone.  However, there are a couple guys around (SamES and Oddbod) who have made small modifications in the past.  You could ask them if they are willing to take a look.  However, this is not an official Emby app which Luke development.  The app Luke is referring to is the one he developed which is only available from the Samsung store.

So i either buy 2 new tv's or go with plex. That sounds like my only options.

So basically 2 of the 3 issues i have at the start of the weekend havent been resolved and never will. I have a thread in Roku scetion. Emby server/General section.

Which app are you running on your H-series?  Have you tried the official app from the store to see if it helps?  I still don't know which one you're running on that.

 

BTW:  Samsung said they aren't taking any updates for Orsay.  That would include Plex also.  There may be a day when you might just have to use another box with your TV if the apps can't be updated, or update your TV.

Try updating the latest 2.2.4 on your 2012 set to see if that helps.

 

On your 2014 set you could also try the unofficial app 2.2.4 which should work, or hope that Samsung allows 0.123 to be released.

gonna go try 2.2.4 in sam app store right now.

 

 

You might have meant it, but the unofficial app 2.2.4 is only available from IP using the instructions from the pinned post.  The official app is the only one available in the Samsung store.

Okay, good. 

 

Did you try 2.2.4 on your 32H?  It's older, but if it works that's something.

 

With the 32H you have two options because either "should" work.  

 

1. Try loading the unofficial app 2.2.4 using the instructions here.  

2. Wait to see if Samsung will approve another update to the official app.

log in ad develop, hold enter button down til sub menu comes up. goto ip settings, put in ip address, click ok. sub menu, goto app sync, agree, ok, window says user app sync requested, blue ok button, hit ok button. It goes back to sub menu.  WTH ??
