It just twitches and the little graph never shows and neither does the media. I had the earlier version and it worked wonderfully. Both are/were on Ubuntu 18.04 with all updates applied. I'm sure I've done something wrong but I can't figure out what. This is not installed on top of the older version. I did something stupid and had to redo the hard drive. The media is on another drive. All the paths show to be correct. The logs don't mean much to me. I guess someone is going to have to hold my hand to get this done.

There is an alert saying "Plug-In Updates Failed'. The internet is up and running.

If someone will tell me what to look for I'll get on it.

Thanks for help.

This is the last one. Holler if you need more.

And thanks again.

New info:

I found a method for becoming Emby. I did so and Emby can see everything to do with media that root can see. So I guess the problem is not permissions.

Onward and upward through the fog.

I completely uninstalled 4.1.1.0 cold booted and reinstalled. I got exactly the same result. Can I download the installer for the previous version and use that? I f I hadn't cratered my hard drive I's still be using it and grinning like a jackass eating prickly pear. As it is I am dead in the water and apparently all alone.

I am including the last log since the reinstall.

Well, I see it but I don't believe it. The media is on a 2 TB drive separate from the operating system. Ubuntu was showing that drive under /media/username/Label and that is where I pointed the libraries (that were never found). What I did not see was that Ubuntu was also showing the drive under /mnt/UUID. I changed the paths to the /mnt/ direction and now it works. Go figure.
