omeca13 1 Posted May 19, 2019 Share Posted May 19, 2019 (edited) Hello, I have been using this setup for over a year and yesterday evening I've started having issues. I have an m3u playlist setup in emby. Playback is fine on any device, I can even cast to my smart tv. However as of last night (worked in the afternoon) I have been unable to stream to my chromecast with Live TV. Non-live media plays fine. I've been debugging things for a couple hours now but I'm at a loss. Attached is a log snippet from the moment i press play. emby in the browser thinks it's playing but the timestamp is 0:00. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks. I had restarted the server many times to no avail but has avoided restarting the machine because it is down the cellar and requires intervention on startup. But that seemed to cure the issue. omeca13 1 Posted August 12, 2019 Author Share Posted August 12, 2019 I figured I should just bring this post back rather than post a new one. This issue has returned. It appears an update was pushed to emby within the last couple days which breaks Chromecast live tv casting. It works fine on the device, just not casting.
