When casting from emby it's unintelligible at anything under 60-90. Is there a setting on server side somewhere I can force casting sound to be louder? dotcom 8 Posted May 30, 2019 Author Share Posted May 30, 2019 It's connected to a new P series vizio. Not sure what version of chromecast they use. I got tired of it and got a fireTV. I still have problems with the other one in my bedroom (same P series) but it's not enough for me to care that much. If I do I'll buy a firetv.Basically cast volume needs to be 60+ to hear. Swiping out of the app quickly on an iphone xs max (assumed same for x and xs) will turn volume on tv to 100 which can be loud sometimes lol. Occasionally I'll hit the perfect random number and something like 16 will be loud but usually it's 60+. Every once in a while the volume will be great for about 3-5 seconds then go super quiet and need me to turn it up to the standard 60+. Keep in mind 19-25 is normal for casting from other apps. It should be obvious the volume difference. The loud one is from the tablet casting after the phone was just casting at that same volume level. Music behaves the same.
