habsfan 2
I am using Emby for Kodi (Latest Beta-4.0.16a) as the non Beta kept freezing during sync and rebooting , have everything synced finally, but if I enable the plugin if I reboot it becomes unchecked. I have read the wiki and uninstalled and reinstalled but I can't figure out what else I am missing. Running Leia 18.1. It is a remote Emby Server I am testing, could this be why? Thanks in advance for the help. Edited May 5, 2019 by habsfan

What is your device? Usually that is caused by artwork caching on low powered devices, which has been resolved in the beta version. A new stable version is coming soon. Just a few more things left to fix.

I am running a Mecool M8s L Pro. Its pretty snappy with its 912 processor. The freezing is a okay on the beta version though. SYNC COMPLETES IN A FEW HOURS. Can I not use the plugin because I am accessing a remote Emby server? I read the wiki but don't have any options for plugins on my dashboard I would have to sync manually in this case? Thanks again, great add on Edited May 5, 2019 by habsfan
Angelblue05 4130
You need to install the server plugin Kodi companion to use it. It makes no difference, local or remote. Otherwise yes, you’d need to manually update whichever library you need to update, which takes longer.
