If so what platform is this running on.. windows, linux, etc? When you visit the Emby dashboard as an administrative user what does the host/ip address of the Emby server show? This is what you should use. Then do the same for the port. Then connect. You must have your own Emby server or know someone who invites you to theirs or shares with you login info to join an Emby server. One does not come provided with premier membership. Other companies may use Emby to provide their services/servers. Those companies would need to provide you the server/port info their specific company allows with Emby. Those other companies may also charge you money on top of what you pay Emby. This is their prerogative not something Emby controls. Emby is a client/server system designed to stream media you own to various client devices.Roku is a client and needs a server running on your network to stream your media. Although there is a limited situation where you can stream someone else's content if they share their server with you that is not really what Emby is for. There haven't been any changes to that area that I know of but I can go through this today and see where the issues are. I will go through the entire Emby connect stuff and see what I can find. It should simply give an error the server version is too low and produce a dialog. After closing that dialog yes, it will remain on an empty homescreen purposely rather than close the app so that the app appears stuck. We don't want them to just launch the app again. It has to show the message then get stuck on the empty screen that does nothing forcing them to press home or press back to exit the app. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
