Guest Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 Hi, I upgraded Chrome to 74.0.3729.108 (newest stable for macOS) and subtitles aren't showing in Emby Web App. Previous versions of Chrome is working, as well as Firefox and Safari. Been running Emby 4.0.2.0_1 on FreeBSD 11.2 a long time (same version before and after subtitle problem). Any ideas?
Luke 38841 Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 They're there, just look closely. Chrome is rendering them up at the top for some reason, and since we're applying a small margin to push them up further, they may be slightly cut off at the top. I'll need to see why they started doing that. Thanks.
dmtg 11 Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 In my case, it does not show any legend anywhere with the new version of chrome

CarlosLima 150 Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 I use only .srt external caption in .strm file and is perfect in other internet browsers. Also always worked perfect until the previous version of google chrome.
CarlosLima 150 Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 (edited) Note that the captions are too high at the top of the screen, above the upper edge limit. Maybe a css to fix this, until it is fixed in the next version of Emby Server? Edited May 2, 2019 by CarlosLima
Luke 38841 Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Not solved... The subtitle in the top Unfortunately that's an issue with Chrome 74. We are monitoring the situation and looking for workarounds.
Happy2Play 9142 Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 Looks like the current workaround is adjust the test size. https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/73202-subtitle-at-the-top/ https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/73171-after-upgrade-to-4110-subtitles-are-on-top-web/
Happy2Play 9142 Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 Can everyone verify Chrome 75 has resolved this issue.
