How to play stream TV through Live TV

Hi everyone, 

 

I have an Emby Premiere and would like to play some TV channels available on internet through Emby.  

 

I read the guides on Live TV but could not manage to do it. Could someone help me? 

 

For exemple, here is the URL of the national TV of my country. How should I proceed to be able to stream it through Emby? Is that even possible?

Thanks for the link, I already read it but did not understand how to do it. I am bit out of my depth here ^^' 

 

I do understand that I have to create a M3U file and setup Emby to use it as a TV Tuner (https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/M3U-Tuners). 

 

However I encounter a major hurdle regarding the M3U file: How do I find the needed channel address (https://www.rts.ch/p...vLiveId=3608506). It seems it should be something starting by rtmp://

 

Also, why using pastebin as suggested in the link you provided? 

 

Sorry if my questions are obvious. I am no IT professional. I am curious and enjoy using Emby at home.

I guess that is specific to your stream provider so you may need to ask them. @@maegibbons may have some tips.
