schmitty 61
Hello, Standard Definition content is not being properly detected by resolution. 576p/i (1024x576 16:9 and 768x576 4:3) is being incorrectly recognised as 480p/i. Could this please be corrected? Edited April 25, 2019 by schmitty
Luke 36886
Hi, why do you feel that this is the case?
Happy2Play 8144
Hi, why do you feel that this is the case? I guess the question should be what are the set resolutions and there range? So what resolution range is considered 480I/P and so on? Edited April 25, 2019 by Happy2Play
Luke 36886
Ok yea that is just the display title of the video stream. It will not have any functional impact.
schmitty 61
Yes, you are correct Luke. No functional impact... just me being pedantic with media info. To my understanding, 480 is a North American resolution (NTSC/ATSC)... and 576 is UK, Australia, NZ etc. (PAL/DVB-T). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/480p https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/576p https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_common_resolutions
