So not a big deal but annoying.

Many times I remove something from the recording schedule and I find that the item I removed still records.

I have a few series that I have set up to record ALL from one or all channels - but not record episodes already in the library(s).

What it the logic with this? I would expect these items to not record. As they are already in a library(yet still somehow get scheduled in the first place). Is the logic different for the recording library than for others?

Things I have tried - removing item(s) I don't want to record-rerecord, deleted the task manager task(s), restarted the server....

Am I missing something?

Like I said it's annoying...not life altering.

Thanks

Windows?

If so, check your Task Scheduler for Emby tasks.

I know that's where Emby schedules the task but shouldn't it delete the schedule when one removes it in Emby?

Sounds like a bug @Luke

Yeah I have checked the task scheduler tasks. I actually bulk delete them regularly as they just sit there FOREVER. Expired or not. Ridiculous behavior. And I do that every time I delete something from the schedule, no effect.

I appreciate the input though @CBers and @Sammy

"It's no longer an issue." - WRONG

Don't get me wrong - I don't know that this is my issue. But ^^^^^ IS still an issue.

Why do you feel that it still records? We'd have to go over an example. Thanks.

I provided all the info I could at the time. The short of it is because THEY STILL RECORD.

I am keeping an eye on it and when next it occurs I will add another log and update the post.

But honestly if I remove an scheduled recording it should not record - yes?

Am I missing something?

Some of the removed items in question are done same day they were scheduled to record, most are Days ahead of when they are scheduled. But again if they are removed they shouldn't record.

We'd have to go over a specific example along with the corresponding server log file. thanks.
