Hi, having issues with my TV episodes showing up as versions rather than individual episodes. In the meta data editor (attached) it’s connected to the correct episode but when I go to play it in the main screen (attached) it shows multiple versions all in the drop down. When there is more than one season for a show many episodes show up there. To play any show I have to trawl through and find the right one each time.

hi @@Jonolange, are you able to get to episode 2 in the metadata editor? Does it show episode number 2?

@@Happy2Play can you reproduce with this naming?

Minus the colon in Star War: The Clone Wars, I used that example with the first five episodes named as above and they were no merged into multi-version view.

Since there appears to be no metadata with media, would this be a database issue?

@@Jonolange

If you removed one of these troubles series for your collection, performed a library scan, created a new test library and added that series to that library do you see the same thing?

Hi Luke, I am not able to get to Episode Two in the metadata manager. There are two episode 4s showing there though.

@@Luke, @@Happy2Play

I have created a new test library with just the first season of the clone wars. I removed the colon. I get the same results. I can replicate this issue on a windows machine as well as on the Pi where this server is running. I can get to episode 2.

Can you get to episodes 17 and 18 individually in the metadata editor?

Hi, were you previously running Emby Server 3.5 and then upgraded to 4.0? Or did you start with 4.0+? Thanks !

@ Luke I am running Version 4.0.2.0 on the Pi, this has continued to have the issue. I was however able to take my files, did a very though check of all shows to make sure that there were nothing strange in the file names and then move them to a windows server running Version 4.1.1.0 and I didn't have the issue. I think what happened is that I had something odd in a filename somewhere and it confused the server and it thought all my tv shows were versions. My next step is to test everything on the pc and then update the Pi and transfer files over.
