I have three servers - mine, my brother, and my mom On my ipad and on emby theater (windows 10) it behaves as I'd expect. I signed into emby connect and I'm good, can flip around the servers no problems, just see my user ID. don't need to keep sigining into emby connect. on the roku? it's a mess. the cloud icon goes away after the inital selection and I cannot select a different remote server without doing emby connect again. and I see all the users on the server. Initially when I go through emby connect the only user I see is me, including my avatar, which is correct behavoir. but after that I see all users on the server and no avatar for me. and cannot select another server without confriming another pin. is this a known issue? when will it be fixed? Three servers- Ellsworth - Mine and local Marnet - My brothers and Remote MarCliff - My Moms and Remote Doesn't matter what server I connect to initially or what one I go to next. Or how I go there (option 1 go down to setting and select server, option two press back key and choose select server from pop up) https://1drv.ms/v/s!ArZ2KnVG8vwYsvE_g8T_HLxdLgxJEw 0-14 seconds - logging in with emby connect 14 seconds - I have clouds by the server names 23 seconds - I have my emby avatar and my embyconnect user name when I go to select server. and this is the only user I see to select (as expected) 57 seconds - I am connected to Marcliff (a remote server) 1:04 - I go down to the settings gear - and this one time it worked properly 1:11 - it still shows clouds by the servers - this is what should happen but very rarely does. 1:19 - It still shows me with my avatar and embyconnect id 1:57 - I no longer have clouds by the server names 2:07-2:35 - Marnet (remote) server fails to connect at all 2:42 - Ellsworth now looks like it does as a local server - showing user id's and not my embyconnect id anymore 2:56 - Marcliff offers me the option to manually login or wake the server - Again not showing my embyconnect ID anymore At this point my only way to connect to Marnet would be to go through providing an emby pin. and if i do that I won't be able to connect to Marcliff unless I do the emby pin AGAIN. this is not how it works for IOS or Windows - I can select other servers as i please repeatedly with them. without need to re-enter embyconnect pin, without need to login with a hidden user id Edit: perhaps I have discovered something. it looks like if i only select a server by going down to the gears (and not by going 'back' to the select server) - it stays signed into emby connect. speechles 1917 Posted April 25, 2019 Share Posted April 25, 2019 (edited) This is due to multiple servers using Emby connect. I can try to diagnose this today along with what else I am doing. It likely isn't cache everything into the registry required or isn't stashing the entire server json. I can take a look at this and see where exactly things are going awry. Thanks for the detailed walk-thru to recreate the scenario. I will dig deeper into this today and report back later. Stay tuned... Also, it's speechles < without the last s. This is because my nickname comes from Eris Free Net (EFNet) and Internet Relay Chat (IRC). In 1998 you got 9 character nicknames on EFNet and this is how I lost the last s.
