Soggybottoms 3
Hi all, Since upgrading to v4.1.0.26 Emby seems to be ignoring the conversion profile. All other settings (quality, etc.) are fine. The actual conversion/sync process runs and is successful, its just that Emby is converting everything to mkv format despite setting the profile to 'TV'. Tried deleting and recreating the convert settings but that did not help. Any ideas? Luke 37008
Hi, why do you feel that it's being ignored?
Soggybottoms 3
Hi, why do you feel that it's being ignored? Hi Luke, Unless I am misunderstanding something in the wording of the profile setting; setting the TV profile should convert to mp4 format, correct? Prior to 4.1.0.26 it was doing this, but since upgrading it is now converting videos to mkv format. Not a huge deal for me, but I was just curious if something has changed in 4.1.0.26.. Thanks! Luke 37008
Yes the help text needs to be revised, sorry. We changed the conversion container to mkv on account of the fact that pretty much all tv devices at this point support mkv.
