Hi,

So far everything has been ok for me.. until yesterday. I was watching a movie and suddenly it stopped.

I think it was when emby updated or something.

So, my tv and android box can access and stream but not my sony x700.

a network check does see the mac of my server and it knows its IP address but the error is failed and tells me to look at the firewall.

So I disabled everything (not just the firewall) in bitdefender and still the same.

Tried disable upnp in the router and enable and same thing too.

Tried using cable (gigabit) and wifi (2.4Ghz and 5Ghz) connections. Nothing changed

Again, while doing all this, everything seems to access emby except sony that was working... until it stopped in the middle of a movie last night.

When can I find previous version, just to test it (and I tested both 32 and 64bit version too, by the way).

Log's attached.

Thanks for you support and keep up the good work.

Since this is a recent post and I have a similar problem, but with a Sony BDP-S3700, so I decided to post here.

My wife and I were watching a tv show and part way in, I tried to rewind and the player was unresponsive. I was not even able to turn power off. Continued to watch the remainder of the show which played normally. Afterward I had to pull the power cord to reset the player.

When I tried to reconnect the player was unable to connect.

I restarted Emby server twice, and rebooted the PC the server is on, and still no connection.

I have two Sony BDP-S3700s and they both exhibit the same issue. They are named Sony BDP-S3700 and Sony BDP-S3700-1.

I tried connecting from a laptop using Firefox at 192.168.0.125:8096 and it worked.

I have (and have had) the Windows DLNA server and Playon server running on the same system.

The Sony BDP-S3700 connects to both of those servers.

I believe this is the relevant log file from the time the problem started.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply.

I noticed this alert. This is around the time of the problem. Not sure if before or after.

Is this the latest? Dashboard says up to date.

Emby Server on Emby Server has been updated to 4.1.0.26

Sorry I left for easter weekend and did this in a hurry :(

I really though you would be out for easter too!

Anyway, I came back and after reading this post and noticed a new update (windows notification), I had to test.

I'm happy to say everything is fine now.

Thanks
