milonedp 0
When I select to clear the Kodi DB on the Advanced Tab I don't get all the prompts if I select clear cashed artwork. If I select Clear Cached Artwork it stops at that point, no further yes / no questions and no reboot of Kodi. If I manually reboot Kodi it doesn't ask me to reset up the server config or anything. Just a mostly empty db (sometimes files linger). If I select No to clear cashed artwork I then get the remaining prompts about Music, Addons, etc... and the reboot of Kodi and I have to re-add my servers and folders, etc... I'm using an Android Nvida Shield with the Embruary Skin on Kodi 18.1. Is that a bug or is that imply there is something corrupt with my Artwork db on the Kodi device and I need to start completely clean. NOTE: This is happening on two different Nvida shields (but I did copy the Kodi folder from one to the other) Edited April 18, 2019 by milonedp
Angelblue05 4130
Can you provide your Kodi log? I don't see this. It takes a bit of times because it's erasing the cached artwork, but then it moves on to reset add-on settings. How long have you waited? milonedp 0
I'm away from home now so I'll need to try to get the logs when I get back. How long does it typically take? It seems like it had ended but I suppose it might have just not finished. I have a few hundred movies and 100 or so tv shows. Angelblue05 4130
Depends on the device's speed and the size of your library. Could take a few minutes. But a log is the best way to know if the process encountered an error. Edited April 22, 2019 by Angelblue05
milonedp 0
I tried this again and let it run for an extended period of time and it never finished. Here is the log Log - Reset db.txt
Angelblue05 4130
Provide your Kodi log, not your server log.
