thrillcat 12
You know what would be REALLY cool, is to collaborate with MadVR to incorporate their tone mapping into a server-side process. [emoji6] I’d run MadVR in a heartbeat if it didn’t require a full-on HTPC. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

raudraido 43
Is FFmpeg in theory capable to convert HDR source to SDR without washed out colors?
Luke 37008
Yes once add tone mapping support to our transcoding.
raudraido 43
I do not understand your response. FFMpeg supports tome mapping and Emby does not? You'll add support sometimes soon? Yes once add tone mapping support to our transcoding.
maegibbons 1267
Thats correct. Currently emby does NOT tell ffmpeg to Tone map because it is complicated in all the situations that emby has to deal with. It is coming. Just be patient.
