Hi,

After I update emby on Lg Tv it wont play any files with any format. My Lg web os version is 4.05.6. I tried to ply a movie (Australia) as an example and upload the log. Could you please help me with the issue?

PS: the video format is SD H264, Audio: AAC. Actually I tried with many different format but it wont work.

Cheers

A few things going on here.  h264 in avi is not supported (21 grams) so it is trying to transcode.  Rango appears to be trying to burn in subs so it requires transcode.

Transcoding shouldn't be a problem but from your report it is obviously failing.

@@Luke, there's lots of these errors on playback. What would cause this to be thrown?

System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it

In the two logs above it appears the server is not able to transcode it quickly enough and this causes the Samsung player to disconnect.

Can you try playing something else that doesn't require transcoding?

Can you please also check that there is not a Bitrate limit set for the user?  I'm seeing some low rates in the log (MaxStreamingBitrate=1000001)

I am not sure what is happen, but the LG app start playing again I did not change any things, the only problem I have now there are buffering issues when playing some of movies.

I don't know where I should change MaxStreamingBitrate.

Is it direct playing, or transcoding?

Well sorry I was on a business trip.

It happens for both and now I have weird problem too. LG app works for about one day (it is still too slow) then it wont play any things. I need to uninstall and install the app in LG TV again then it starts to work, but only works for one day and I need to do it every day.

Did anyone have time to check the emby log I attached the newer one too. I found that I can play any movie from emby app in my LG  for 24 hours, from the time I login to the app in my TV then its stop playing. After that I have to uninstall the app from TV and install it again to make it work for next 24 hours.

Are you sure this is the right log? It doesn't look like you started playing anything. Thanks.
