Viktikus 4
Hi there. Just an idea pops into my mind, or more than a question actually: Can a IP WebCam be used with MediaBrowser3 Server as a LiveTV source? IP WebCamera in this case could be MJPEG/Some video with audio.. No controll, just the video &/ audio.
mini__me 23
If you use DVBLink to feed WMC and then ServerWMC to MB3 then you can do this now
Viktikus 4
Ok, so there is a workaround for this! Thanx! But, seriously, A Addon for this could be sweet. I can not be so compelx.. Just passing url to ffmpeg to transcode and some small ui view with settings..
bigjohn 655
WAF goes way up if this is available as a "watch the kids on our babycam" channel.
Viktikus 4
Well, that's one way to view this. WebCams (mjpeg) are very common in security perspective and In my mind, should be considered as a "live TV plugin" that they also are with MediaServer. I would have several channels to view from work with my phone, like my garage doors and yard cams.. Edited May 14, 2014 by Viktikus
AgileHumor 123
This would be awesome. An HTTP trigger would be nice to let my motion sensors make the camera show. I do this now with WMC using Vera and a web page that refreshes every second: http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,22854.msg161480.html#msg161480 Edited May 14, 2014 by AgileHumor
