Leyst 2
Hello guys, I tried playing a 4k HEVC file from my DS418 play to my 4k samsung tv (UE55HU8500) but it keeps loading every few sec. Its a 4K UHD 10bit HDR file. (I did however, try a 4K UHD file without HDR and same issue) The NAS should be able to transcode/play the files correct? And my TV should have inbuilt HEVC decoding. But my TV does not have HDR so could that be the issue, because the NAS has to transcode the HDR? I'm a bit confused. Luke 36999
Can you try lowering the in-app quality setting and then see how that compares? Thanks.

I tried lowering it to the lowest 4k which is 40mps and i get an error "No compatible systems are currently available. Please try again later or contact you system admin for details" Streaming 4k on netflix is no issue. Edited April 3, 2019 by Leyst

Luke 36999
Try setting it to 10 mbps.
Leyst 2
Try setting it to 10 mbps. 10mbps did not work. I had to set it to 1 mbps 720p for it to play a 1080p movie. My internet speed should be enough for 10mbps ect. The strange thing is that some movies work on auto while other movies dosent even work on 10 mbps
