lorac 100 Posted March 28, 2019 Share Posted March 28, 2019 I have an NVIDIA 1050. My issue is that sometimes after pausing media there's no sound upon resuming playback. The issue has persisted through multiple driver versions and even a different PC. Video card is connected to a Pioneer VSX-1131. I have to start and stop the media in order to get sound. I know from a different thread many others have the same issue. I don't have any logs right now but will work on it. As in, does it stop and restart mpv, or does it switch while playing? If it's the latter, this might help. I can't test this right, now. I changed the OS on my mini computer. The only one that worked (regardless of using audio-stream-silence or not) was wasapi. So I think for the Windows build of Theater, your concern is moot. I can't speak for IOS. So for Windows, rolling in --audio-stream-silence=yes is not only safe, but a good idea. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
