emby on tvs 1282 ( vs syno ds918+ ) trouble with official version and transcoding

hi,

 

I did install latest official version from amby website, after installation on QTS 4.3.5 I only get black screen.

(full reboot did solve the problem, the server is running, no black screen, I am able to configure)

 

i am able to stream on high res 4k movie transcoded to 1080p 40mbit (or more) without subtitle. the cpu load is 60%

as soon I ad subtitle, the server, amby start to stutter, and the stream too. cpu load goes to 20 percent because trancoding is going down. it is external subtitle. but  same issue with native  subtitles.

 

Installing the beta release I get Emby server running and able to configure it. also took and premiere account otherwise

no hardware transcoding. I am unable to get normal hardware transcoding, it does do anything (cpu load from 100 to 90/85%) but still unwatchable. I bought the 1282 to consolidate and get rid of 918+ but......

(plex does have the same high cpu load, 85 to 95 but the movies are watchable.....1 stream....)

 

now I have two accounts x usd 4,99

 

The synology ds918+ with its transcoding implementation and server and client  software I am  able to run 4 x 4k utra high resolution streams transcoded to 1080p. cpu still 70% (celeron) ( with subtitle)

 

in the tvs 1282 is i7 6700k  , and I thought the celeron and i7 6700 share same gpu/specs...but it look like does not,

or something is wrongly compiled in plex and emby, not taking advance of all the hardware instructions.
