My Media folders no longer opening on Android devices for user

EDIT: I have uploaded a quick video onto Streamable to quickly show the issue - https://streamable.com/gbli2

Emby has worked perfectly for me on Android for ages but recently it's become a pain.

I have two folders on an external HDD connected to my PC (running Emby server 4.0.3.0), the folders are called TV and Films. I have it set up so that when I open either folder I have a nice alphabetical list of each subfolder etc. It's an easy way for me to navigate and I like it this way. I'll then navigate to the relevant film or TV series and watch whatever I want.

Here is what I'm talking about.

When I click either TV or Films now, all I get is the circle animation where Emby is trying to do something but can't. I could leave it for an hour and it would still be the same.

The account I'm using is my Admin account and it has access to the folders it's trying to access, this is the account I've used for a long time to view TV shows etc and it's the one I want to keep using because it's kept track of everything I've watched.

The android devices are definitely connected to the server, I can continue watching something I've half-watched, but I just can't get my list of TV shows to load.

If I sit at my PC using the same account, I can navigate the folder system on that just like I could on Android and then select my android box or phone and it will play on either of them perfectly, it's just that neither my phone or android box can navigate the folders under My Media anymore.

I can also access (using Android) any film or TV show in those folders by using the search function on the top right, I just can't open the folder hierarchy for TV of Films in any of my Android devices anymore. As I said, this has worked for well over a year until a few days ago.

I have a visitor account so anyone who comes to my place can use their phone to watch a TV show or a film if they want, there are absolutely no problems with that account at all. That account can browse the folders straight away. I've made no changes to my own Admin account in about six months.

What I have tried so far

- I've reinstalled Emby for Android on both Android devices, the problem remains exactly the same.

- I've looked in /Android/data/com.mb.android/files/logs on both android devices and there are no log files. I have checked my file manager and it is set to show any hidden or system files, there are no logs on either Android device.

- I've uploaded my latest server log from the PC to this post.

Hi there, how does this compare to what you see in the web app?

Hi Luke. By web app do you mean me doing the same actions in Chrome on my PC? If so, it works perfectly through Firefox and Chrome.

If I browse Emby through those using the same user, the folders open as normal, it's only via the android App where that functionaly no longer works for me for that user.

Using the same admin account?

What device and version of android?

Yes using the same admin account, it's the account I've used for a long time.

I have tested it on the following devices, all of which worked perfectly until a few days ago.

Sony Xperia Z5 - Android version 7.1.1

Minix Neo U1 - Android version 5.1.1

Samsung Galaxy S4 - Android version 5.0.1

Just an update. I've played with it some more and the issue appears to be specifically the List view. On both devices I can use the banner view and it loads. so it's the list that won't load on my Android devices but will in my browser on the PC.
