tcjones5305 2
I moved the folder that I was having Emby DVR record shows to, so Emby did all the file naming and subfolder structure. I also had this folder setup as a "TV Show" content type library. After I moved it and remapped my "TV Show" library, the shows don't show up correctly in the TV Show" library anymore. The only way I can see them is if I go the the "Folder" view. I tried forcing the metadata to update using the Metadata Manager with no success. I deleted the library and added it back in with no success. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this a "TV Show" content type library to display correctly? ebr 14905
Hi. We'll have to look at specifically what you did and what you have now as far as file structure and library definition. Look closely at what changed from before. What is different?
Luke 37029
Can you show us what libraries you have setup in Emby server now, along with the folders they have? thanks !
tcjones5305 2
I just moved the folder structure that the DVR created on its own. Here are some screen shots of the TV shows library. Do these help anyone figure out what I have wrong or need to do?
ebr 14905
That looks like it should be okay but the difference is that the automatic recording location would have been set to "Mixed Content". You can try that type, but, the way you have it should work (but there is that .grab folder again...)
Luke 37029
Is d: videos/emby also added to any other library?
tcjones5305 2
I have added a subfolder in d:/videos/emby to another library (so I can quickly get to a specific show). I created the folder structure from scratch and moved each show over to the new folder structure. I also deleted and created the library using mixed content type. Still the same result. Should I not have a library pointing to a subfolder of another library?
ebr 14905
Should I not have a library pointing to a subfolder of another library? Correct. That is not supported and is the cause of your issue here. Thanks.
