speelgoedauto2 0
Goedenavond mede Emby users! Cheeers! Guest asrequested
Seagate Ironwolf or HGST Deskstar
speelgoedauto2 0
Does the 5400rpm or 7200rpm makes a different for streaming? Im thinking about the ironwolf st8000VN0022 8TB. Most of the time all the files are just “sitting” on the HDD. Its not that it needs to be running (Reading/writing) all the time.. Im just an new guy playing with Emby, so ive got 2; maximum 3 people who are using my server at the same time. Thanks for the tips!
Guest asrequested
You can use a 5400, but get either a NAS or an enterprise drive. Don't buy a desktop drive. HGST have the best record for the lowest drive failures, but the Ironwolf drives are nice. I have four of the 8TB drives.
