PenkethBoy 2063
I have been updating some of my episodes to HEVC from H264 and have noticed that the episode images do not get a HEVC image as a H264 and other codec types would In the log it indicates it cant find a codec_hevc I added one (codec_hevc.png) as a test to the cache\coverart\resources folder - but covertart does not see it - even after a reboot of emby and a lib scan i also put one in the programdata\plugins\coverart and programdata\plugins\coverart\custom-overlays - on the off chance that would make a difference - no joy So is the log error because it cant find the file online wherever the images are stored? or is something else going on? ebr 14903
I think it should work in custom_overlays but you may need to re-start the server...

PenkethBoy 2063
@@ebr I am still seeing this in beta .17 and covert art .97 also other missing files include apsect_240 codec_eac3 as well as codec_hevc as covertart does not pick up anything added to the folders it uses - i guess these are missing from the backend that supplies them Any chance of an update Edited March 29, 2019 by PenkethBoy
Luke 37008
Does this only happen when trying to use a custom overlay?

PenkethBoy 2063
ok good and/or have the plugin look in one of its folders to see if a file exists already say cache\coverart\resources where it d/l files to
ebr 14903
And putting the appropriate images in your custom_overlays folder doesn't work? Not every codec is included with CA but it seems like these are. Perhaps something just isn't getting extracted properly for some reason.
PenkethBoy 2063
see first post - no nothing is picked up if you put them in the covertart folders and its happening on more than one server both .17 - although it started before .17 and .97 covertart 2019-03-28 17:34:01.811 Debug CoverArt: Codec for Dr. No is hevc 2019-03-28 17:34:01.811 Debug CoverArt: CoverArt will treat F:\EmbyTest\MovieTesting\Dr. No (1962)\poster.jpg 2019-03-28 17:34:01.811 Debug CoverArt: CoverArt using profile default for Dr. No 2019-03-28 17:34:01.812 Debug CoverArt: CoverArt using frame type HEVC from image set ClearCase for Dr. No 2019-03-28 17:34:01.941 Error CoverArt: Resource not found: codec_hevc Edited March 29, 2019 by PenkethBoy

ebr 14903
Sorry, not yet. The icon set we are using pre-dates HEVC.
