redd-lille 0
Luke 36887
We do cache images after Emby apps request them, but not before, so that is why you might see this.
redd-lille 0
Hi I do not understand, Luke The hard drive continually "makes noise" when I scroll in the catalog, either on web app on PC, or Android. I fear it will damage my drive I'm on synology 415 + Edited June 21, 2019 by redd-lille
Luke 36887
Where else will the images come from?
redd-lille 0
The images are in the same folder than videos
Luke 36887
Exactly, that's where the images come from.
redd-lille 0
So ? Why accessing the images do such a noise on the hard drive ? There is no such noise when using another application like photostation or filestation. And there are also files on harddrive with them..
Luke 36887
That's the first time, then after that they are cached.
redd-lille 0
Actually, that's the issue. There is ALWAYS a (very) strong hard drive noise when scrolling in the catalog. Stronger than usual hard drive noise in usual application. It occurs any time, even after cache. Or cache doesn't work for unknown reason.
