schmitty 61
Hi, I have noticed that there seems to be a problem with Emby Server detecting extras for movies. My folder structure is as follows:- /media/movies/Movie Title /extras /intros /shorts /trailers It works fine with extras and trailers, as soon I add one of the others it detects everything as individual media items. The same when I add a 3D version of the same movie to the directory. I have to have 3D versions in separate directories. eg. Despicable Me 3 Despicable Me 3 (2017).h264.DTS-HD MA [7.1].Bluray-1080p.mkv Despicable Me 3 3D (2017).h264.3D-MVC.DTS-HD MA [7.1].Bluray-1080p.mkv Log.txt
legallink 187
On the naming convention if you will add a hyphen after the movie name, it will recognize them as the same. Movie names before the hyphen have to be EXACTLY the same. Here are the rules of the road so to speak. https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Movie-naming
schmitty 61
That is incorrect. I have tried Despicable Me (2010)-3D.MVC.h264.DTS-HD MA [7.1].Bluray-1080p.mkv and Despicable Me (2010) - 3D.MVC.h264.DTS-HD MA [7.1].Bluray-1080p.mkv

Happy2Play 8281
Sorry can we be specific on this with one example. To me if I understand it correctly the issue is "intros" in not a approved Extras folder (see the wiki).
schmitty 61
I have hidden the non-approved folders. I can not get Emby Server to correctly recognise the 3d version of the movie, without having to put it in it's own folder. Despicable Me 3D (2010) It will detect the 3D movie, but breaks the extras detection.

schmitty 61
That worked! I had to rename the 2d version as well. Thanks!
Luke 37060
I don't have the wiki or code in front of me, but have we ever supported an intros folder for extras? I don't recall that.

Going by the wiki... no. Perhaps, that could be implemented.
