jsbthree 8
Hey there, since a few days emby didn't get the watched status after watching. I allready repaired the database, but didn't get it to work. What can I do further? Kind regards Gesendet von meinem ONEPLUS A5000 mit Tapatalk

Angelblue05 4130
Thank you for the log. I'll look into a fix. I imagine, you play something in Kodi, it doesn't show under active devices right?
jsbthree 8
For example : I watch an episode, but after watching, the episode stays in status : new / unwatched. In emby App btw it didn't get the Hook as watched episode. Gesendet von meinem ONEPLUS A5000 mit Tapatalk
Angelblue05 4130
Yes I understand. But when you play, does emby show active playback in the dashboard? I just want to confirm, thanks. Edited March 6, 2019 by Angelblue05
jsbthree 8
Yes, active Playback is shown in the dashboard. But only for 2 seconds. I took a Screenshot. Playback is going on, but dashboard says i stopped it. Thats Not right. Gesendet von meinem ONEPLUS A5000 mit Tapatalk
jsbthree 8
Yesterday I found out that the same issue is with films. In Dashboard they are also shown as stopped after 2 - 4 seconds.

jsbthree 8
Sorry, looked wrong. In dashboard the episode just stopped in that second when it started. The new version didn't fix it.

Angelblue05 4130
Ok so the behavior changed a bit. It is no longer stopped instantly.
Angelblue05 4130
@@jsbthree I'm checking your log and it's not looking good. For now, you can switch back to stable, playback should work (you don't need to do a reset) and progress tracking should also work. I'll let you know once I have something for you to test. Angelblue05 4130
Yes most likely. So I tried the latest nightly for LE, I can't replicate what I'm seeing in the logs.. It works correctly with 4.0.12l (or 4.0.12k which is still available via kodi.emby.media) Edited March 16, 2019 by Angelblue05

Unfortunately the Emby server still reports playback as having finished shortly after it starts even though Kodi is still playing the video. Logs attached.
