e123enitan 232
Hi Angelblue, Even when emby splash is disable, it continues to surface when i play movies, not so much when I play Tv shows, I did several random check of this issue, some it will pop up and insome cases it will not. I prefer not to see emby log in Kodi in any form of shape, even this happen with continues play, it will display emby above the option to start from start or continue from last watched time. I have added log hope it captured the issue,. Thanks https://paste.kodi.tv/cewetujivi
Angelblue05 4130
You cannot disable the splash. But you can select the black version in the add-on settings > playback. Does this help?

I tested here and when I select the black splash, it's the pitch black video that shows up, not the emby logo one?

Angelblue05 4130
Can you capture the playback from a homescreen widget instead, this way it'll show in logs which splash it's playing. Keep me posted.

Angelblue05 4130
Doesn’t matter. Just as long as it’s from a widget or using the show information dialog. Thank you
barong 6
Hi @@Angelblue05, just wanted to add that this new splash screen has unintended consequences for users that utilise external players in kodi. Previously kodi would pass the "http://" path to the emby media file selected to the external player, now it passes the "emby-loading.mp4" file instead.
